today's rantus minorus: if a train leaves redmond, travelling at 60 mph...

why doesn't ms give the max score possible on certification exams anymore?

is it because they don't want testing candidates calculating how many points each question is worth? do they consider candidates determining the minimum number of questions they need to get right to assure a pass some kind of unfair advantage?

personally, i think encouraging basic math skills (like long division and calculating percentages) in candidates for technology exams is a good thing.
