milestones

today is a big day, kiddos.

this marks exactly one week since your friendly neighborhood happyfunboy underwent surgery.

and ya know...

time sure flies when you don't have much of anything to do...

other than watch reruns of star trek.

my only regret?

not signing up for netflix beforehand.

anyway...

to celebrate, here's a health scorecard & timeline for yours truly:

days since surgery = 8
days home from hospital = 7
days until my followup visit = 9
days in a hard neck brace, minimum = 9
days as a pedestrian, minimum = 34

pyridium level = 0%
painkiller level = 18% aka 1 per day
boredom level = 8 kabillion %

most importantly...

right arm function = 99%

remaining symptoms:

• outside forearm tenderness near elbow when touched
• minor weakness/numbness: pinky & ring finger

so we'll see what the neurosurgeon has to say next week.

even with those two remaining things...

i'm about 200% better than i was before the surgery.

and that's all that matters.
